Training
Over the past decade Wyvern Business Systems has specialised in IT Training, during recent years we have developed a team of highly specialised Asistive Technology Trainers. Each Trainer will tailor a training programs to suite each individual customers needs. Our extensive training programs incorporate all aspects of IT Hardware and Software.
WBS has an ongoing program of Progressing Professional Development, our trainers undertake accredited training direct from manufacturers and are heavily involved in product research and development.
Our Trainers have varied backgrounds. Many have, or are working towards, Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Each Trainer follows Dyslexia awareness and disability awareness training at NVQ level.
Training can be delivered anywhere in the UK, we cover many specialist software products including: -
Training is commonly divided into Half Day Sessions. We advise that each customer have at least half a day's training when a new computer is installed, this will familiarise the customer with their new hardware and software. Further sessions are organised directly with the client, usually 2 weeks apart.
Training can be booked in half-day blocks at the following rates: -
Remote Training and Support
WBS has always endeavoured to push the boundaries and be at the forefront of bringing new technology and support to the market place.
We are currently developing the ability to train and support our customers remotely. Utilising both Remote Access and SkyP technology we hope to offer this service in the coming months. Essentially, we aim to have the ability to remotely gain control of a customer's computer while talking to them through a headset using SkyP via the Internet. We can take our client through a training session or help them overcome difficulties as they arise at any time from anywhere!
This service will never replace the essential personal contact required for training, all initial training sessions will always be done in person. This service can be offered for further sessions where time, location or financial constraints are a factor.
For additional piece of mind, the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) vets ALL of our Trainers. The CRB achieves its purpose by providing a service called Disclosure. This is a carefully regulated one-stop shop service that enables organisations to gain access to important criminal and other information for recruitment and licensing purposes.
